I've been asked a few times, "When are you going to make something for boys?" Well, finally I am! (After all, I have three of them to draw inspiration from). My oldest is 7 and is starting to have opinions about what he wears and what is "cool." So with his input, here are our "cool" totes for boys.

I can mix the colors, fabric and symbols, depending on what your little man likes: skater boy (top far left), rock star, preppy, camo-football, or BYU (below).

The small size above (approx. 7 1/2" vertical x 8 " horizontal x 4 1/2" wide) is perfect for scriptures (have you tried to find "cool" scripture totes for boys?)

The bags are also available in large (approx. 11 1/2" vertical x 12" horizontal x 6" wide) and medium (approx. 9 1/2 " vertical x 10 " horizontal x 6" wide), perfect for hauling toys and books for overnight trips to Grandma and Grandpa's.

Auction for a GREAT cause.

I remember the day when I heard about the tragic loss of a friend's 2 year old daughter. My heart broke as I tried to imagine what she and her family must be going through.

As a way to honor her daughter and help others going through similar situations, Molly started the website,
A Good Grief.

This week, she is celebrating the website's one year anniversary. Her mission is simple: (in her own words), "A key element in our healing process since the loss of our daughter has been connecting with, learning from, and finding strength in other families who have suffered a similar loss. Our goal is not only to raise money for the burdensome cost of headstones for other children, but to help each of you make connections and find hope and healing from the experiences of others. This is a community of sharing. A community of giving. A community of love and understanding. A place to feel safe and ask questions. Though a community of loss, a place to be found."

Cornflower Attic is happy to be donating a tote bag to A Good Grief's auction.

So, my niece was visiting this weekend and we ( I ) decided to play dress up. I just finished new dresses in this mouthwatering fabric and have been dying to see them on a little cutie.

(Good thing Marinn showed up in time...or it might have ended up on one of my boys! ha!)

I could just eat her up! (Honestly, this fabric makes me crave watermelon).

School is out for us...happy summer!!!

If you've seen me at all in the past two weeks, you have probably seen my new favorite ring.

I found this at a cute boutique: Patina Market, in Pleasant Grove, Utah. Patina houses a unique and funky blend of all-handmade items. (I'm excited to announce that we will be housing our totes and zuzu dresses at Patina next month, but more about that later!)

Cornflower Attic has been in business for a year and 1/2 now, and finally we are starting a blog! We specialize in unique tote bags, baby bags, and scripture totes. We also design baby slings, nursing covers, and adorable little girl dresses. Here, we will be showcasing our newest designs and information on where we are currently showing.
